Senior Social Worker | Supervisory Exp | Youth Hostel | Buangkok
Working Hours: Monday – Friday (9am – 6pm)
Location: Buangkok
Salary: $5,700 - $6,600
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of the overall framework for casework and counselling of residents in the Hostel, budgeting & expenditure according to objectives of the department
- Develop sustainable structure and pathways for staff development and progression (together with Division Head and Corporate Services)
- Ensure staff understanding and aligned practice with the overall philosophy, and provide supervision & guidance for staff
- Oversee casework management and community engagements in the Hostel
- Provide guidance for crisis management & management of complex cases
- Provide direction and guidance on inter departmental and divisional collaboration for the purpose of rehabilitation
- Oversee and conduct family intervention whenever appropriate and necessary for recommended cases
- Networking and liaison with external agencies, by developing network with community agencies and establish collaborative relationship with their key personnel in the rehabilitation and community reintegration of the residents.
- Support professional development and provide support to staff through working closely with the Head, Practice & Service Development and HR
- Attain the Department goals and ensure they are aligned with Division goals.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work with at least 5 years of experience in direct social work practice or similar setting
- Managerial / Team leading experience.
