Sales Executive, New Products

Rollmac Equipments Pte Ltd

Rollmac Equipments Pte Ltd has an established bearings sales network of distributors for over 35 years and is now expanding into the cutting tools industry. The Sales Executive, New Products will set the strategic direction and development for sales activities within the manufacturing sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist and manage the sales and expansion of cutting tool goods to new and existing customers;
  • Conduct market research within the local sales region to find and drive business opportunities with new and existing customers; sales, monitor and track; and take necessary actions to ensure that goals are met
  • Recognize client needs, respond to product-related technical inquiries, and create and present proposals to customer;
  • Follow up with new and existing clients to give after-sales and technical support;
  • Work together via distribution channels;
  • Strong interpersonal, sales, negotiating, presentation, and project management skills, as well as strong customer service;
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and objectives;
  • Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and tenders;
  • Ensure customer orders are processed accordingly;
  • Enhance value-added selling approach;
  • Provide quality after-sales service to customers;
  • Must travel locally on a frequent basis to meet with customers; and
  • Ad-hoc duties related to sales excellence

The Successful Applicant:

  • ITE, Diploma, preferably in Mechanical or Precision Engineering;
  • Sales experience in cutting tools line is ideal, but those with industrial sales or engineering experience in cutting tools are welcome to apply (electrical/electronic components, chemical, related to machinery);
  • Preferably with an ITE or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or equivalent;
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience;
  • A team player who is meticulous and able to work independently;
  • Computer literacy (MS Office);
  • Possess own transport;
  • Business travels may be required; and
  • Salary commensurates with qualifications and experience

Candidates with more experience will be considered for a senior sales position.
