We are currently seeking a qualified and proactive WSH Safety Officer to oversee and enforce our company’s safety policies. The successful candidate will be instrumental in maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with national safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and improve the health and safety plans, programmes, and procedures in the workplace.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
- Identify OHS-related training needs in the company.
- Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Investigate workplace accidents and compile report findings.
- Recommend solutions to issues that need improvement.
- Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances, etc.
- Active in maintaining ISO Standards
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Environmental, Health and Safety or other relevant subjects.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a WSH Officer in the process & construction industry.
- Must be a registered WSH Officer with the Ministry of Manpower.
- Familiar with safety documentation and audits.
- Independent and able to work in a team.
