Responsibilities:
- Partner with Operations teams, Digital, Data and Innovation Product, Product Delivery and IT to ensure the new products are designed to align with the future vision for Wealth and Distributor Services operations.
- Ensure that the product design maximizes automation whilst meeting all the requirements for the best control and client outcomes.
- Work with the Operations teams to validate the design, document the procedures, test the platform and implement the new processes.
- Managing all associated risks from an Operations perspective to ensure a successful delivery of the new products.
- Review the design of the operational processes associated with the new product alongside the Digital, Data and Innovation Product team.
- Partner with senior stakeholders in Operations and Product to complete functional testing of the new platform.
- Partner with the Product Delivery and IT teams on the design and implementation of solutions
- Support any client discussions in the design and delivery of the operational components of the new products.
- Awareness of the factors which might lead to financial loss and those mitigating controls to prevent such losses.
- Appropriate capture and escalation of key risks & issues relating to the delivery of the individual projects, acting as appropriate to mitigate the risks from preventing successful delivery.
- Understands, follows, and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business.
Requirement:
- Bachelor degree in Banking, Finance or in any related majors
- Must have at least 5 years of experience in the delivery of large and complex operational change projects
- Good understanding of operational risk frameworks, including non-financial risk and how the operational strategy enhances the risk profile.
- Must have experience in delivering work in a tight timeframe with the tenacity to find solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in influencing a senior set of sponsors and stakeholders.
- Good to have certification in Change management, PMP, Prince 2, Six Sigma / Business Process Reengineering etc.
