Job Description:
- Handle, monitor and follow up the branch's NPL accounts; set up the recovery strategy and manage non-performance loans collection/recovery and written off accouts collection activities. Prepare recovery proposals for approval in according with branch's authorization.
- Monitor the material risk event, ensure report to management / HO in time; and follow up the progress the potential NPL accounts.
- Review/Prepare monthly management reports on the collection and recovery.
- Negotiate with borrowers, collaborate with cross functional depts (corporate banking, legal department and etc) within branch and liasion with external parties such as laywers/JMs.
- Ensure that the post-loan management and non-performing collection of the branch are carried out in accordance with the management requirements of the head office and branch and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the completion of key performance indicators related to asset quality management assigned by HO and branch.
- Formulate and review the branch system procedures and management requirements related to material risk event management and Non-Performance Loan management /collection work.
- As a second line defence, set up the post-loan management risk framework to prevent the potential NPLs, follow up the post-loan management activities and examine and guide the front line 's the post-loan management.
- Provide targeted work assistance and guidance for the junior staff, and nurture team development.
- Other work assigned by the management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or above(Law,Finance, Economics accounting or related majors) with more than 8 years of NPL management work experience.
- Management experience is perferred
- Strong NPL management skill,outstanding negotiation and communication skills, data analysis, investigation ability; Familiar with the regulatory requirements of bank's bad credit collection, and have independent project management capabilities.
- Familiar with legal terms in restructuring, litigation, repossession, liquidation. Have the ability to comprehensively coordinate the situation of all parties, and make corresponding judgments and contingency handling in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese is required(Including the ability to write Chinese reports) as incumbent is required to liase with Chinese counterparts from Head Office.
