Principal / Senior Software Developer - Energy & Commodity Trading - APAC
Executive Search: We are in search for talented Principal / Senior software developer to lead development projects and daily software activities for the APAC team in Singapore.
The role can for the right candidate develop into team lead role. We are also looking for less experienced Software developers to be part of the team in APAC.
Our client is very innovative and wants only the best software development - and wants to keep leading on Digital and Technical offerings to Traders, Analysts, Machine Learning teams. We are looking for strong coding skills in languages such as C#, Python, .NET and .NET6.
You have software development experience from Trading or other similar fast paced industry. Your efforts will directly impact the success of the business, and you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of future projects in APAC and globally.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for developing software solutions which improves the daily tasks for the Trading and support teams in the business.
· You will play a key role in delivering high-value software development projects.
· Working closely with the tech team in Europe, you will ensure that projects are completed to a high-quality standard.
· Responsible for project coordination and communication with stakeholders in APAC region / offices to ensure that the project objectives are met, and the value of the projects is maximized.
· Developing high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs.
· Collaborate with the core tech team in Europe.
· Coordinate project activities and communicate progress to stakeholders in APAC
· Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality standards are met.
· Provide technical support to stakeholders as needed.
The profile we are looking for.
· Relevant degree and experience within IT or related field
· Strong experience in software development
· Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Python, .NET and .NET6 and other OOP languages
· Experience with MS Azure is preferred.
· Experience with project coordination and communication.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently but as part of an awesome team.
· Fluent in English
