The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving growth, expanding market reach, and fostering strategic partnerships within the refined products in oil trading sector. This position requires a blend of business acumen, industry expertise, and relationship-building skills to identify, negotiate, and execute profitable opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop the market for sales of refined products by improving the sales channels in the Asia markets.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats within the refined product. Develop comprehensive business strategies to capitalize on market dynamics and achieve company objectives.
  • Monitoring competitors in each market’s activities and latest updates. Write market news report and assist traders to understand the supply and demand balance of dedicated countries.
  • Working with traders to optimize export resources distribution and explore suitable resources to match with existing markets, or new markets.
  • Identifying potential mid to long term business opportunities to build sales channels in each market and lead to keeping touch with targets.
  • Find new project opportunities which can support trading and building sales channels such as oil terminal and retail network. Support investment department in potential projects related

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business or equivalent
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or trading roles within the oil trading industry.
  • Deep understanding of energy markets, trading strategies, and risk management principles.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
