Heavy Equipment Sales and Rental Field Technician

*Job Description:*
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Heavy Equipment Sales and Rental Field Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our customers in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of heavy construction equipment. Your primary focus will be on equipment such as excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, generators, compressors, cranes, and more.

*Key Responsibilities:*
1. Conducting on-site inspections and diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical issues with heavy equipment.
2. Performing repairs, maintenance, and adjustments to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
3. Communicating effectively with our operations team and site personnel in both English and Mandarin to coordinate service activities and address customer needs.
4. Serving as a company ambassador while interacting with customers on job sites, demonstrating professionalism, and delivering exceptional service.
5. Documenting service activities accurately and comprehensively on service chits for follow-up by our operations team and Quality Assurance (QA) specialists.
6. Demonstrating a no-quit attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring timely resolution of issues and customer satisfaction.
7. Upholding high standards of workmanship and adhering to company policies and procedures at all times.
8. Maintaining a valid Class 3 driving license to facilitate transportation of equipment and travel to job sites as required.

*Requirements:*
1. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment, with a strong preference for experience with Caterpillar, Hino, Isuzu, Komatsu, Cummins, and Volvo engines.
2. Interest and familiarity with a wide range of heavy construction equipment, including excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, generators, compressors, and cranes.
3. Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin, enabling effective interaction with diverse teams and customers.
4. Positive attitude, resilience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service under challenging conditions.
5. Mechanical or electrical aptitude with a focus on heavy construction equipment, demonstrating expertise in one or both areas.
6. Valid Class 3 driving license with a clean driving record, allowing for the operation of commercial vehicles as needed.
