Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Assists the Head of Department in:
- Formulating and implementing the corporate IT strategy of the Club.
- Planning the annual IT budget for the Club.
- Develops and reviews contingency plan for disaster recovery, to protect the Club against loss of information due to virus, human or natural disaster.
2. Sets up, supports and ensures the smooth operation of the Club’s management information system, server, network, Wifi and POS system.
3. Performs daily / routine IT Server administration and backup of Club’s Management information system.
4. Provides end-user with support in all aspects of computer related matters such as PC hardware and software troubleshooting, Club management information system troubleshooting, POS system troubleshooting (software and hardware) and new POS key creation/update.
5. Liaises with all system vendors with regards to system installation, maintenance, modification and troubleshooting.
6. Documents all modifications, updates / upgrades, changes by system vendor to Club’s Integrated Management System.
7. Coordinates and processes all computer related purchases:
- Review of all purchase requisition.
- Providing end-users with recommendations.
- Obtaining the necessary quotations from suppliers.
8. Maintains a record of all computer assets and software used in the Club.
9. Update and renew all IT-related maintenance agreements.
10. Conducts periodic checks on all computers to ensure software license compliance and virus protection.
11. Documents and updates standard operating procedures file.
12. Perform standby support after office hours and on weekends & PH for all Club’s IT systems issue.
13. Performs other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
Job Requirements:
· Diploma in Computer Studies or an equivalent qualification.
· Preferably with at least 3 years of work experience, preferably with Club exposure.
· Experience with Networking, Network security, Web development and User support.
· Experience in project management.
· Experience in applications of PC hardware and common office automation software.
· Experience in supporting Microsoft product like Office365, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, etc.
· Experience in Microsoft SQL databases.
· Good problem solving and analytical skills.
· Ability to explain and make proposals in verbal presentations and written reports.
