- Effectively lead, manage, train and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve high production levels within tight time deadlines and in a highly dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Ensure production schedule targets are achieved though coordination with relevant parties
- Responsible for quality of outgoing products to meet customer’s requirements and be an active member of the Materials Review Board Process
- Participate and contribute in resolving process-related quality issues
- Lead the team in meeting daily schedule, UPH standards and uptime goals
- Responsible for meeting customer’s delivery schedules
- Lead the team in meeting total product cycle time goals
- Lead the team to meet yield and scrap targets
- Maximize labour efficiency through implementing lean concepts
- Lead in controlling operating costs to meet budget targets
- Reskill operators to meet multi-task job requirements
- Develop NWG teams consisting of operators and EAs
- Participate actively and provide resources to support new program builds and launch
- Support business initiatives
- Ensure system compliance, timely output and delivery, cost improvement, etc
- Accountable for meeting Operational Effectiveness
- To adhere to the Health & Safety regulations set out by the EHS Department and other Government regulations.
- Any other special projects or tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor
- Degree with at least 5 years experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes
- Strong organizational and leadership skills together with a results-driven approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and an efficient problem solver
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Excellent attention to detail and meeting customers’ requirements
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines when required
- Ability to prioritize and organize own workload
