Quality Engineer
location: Loyang (company shuttle bus provided)
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect products purchased by their company from suppliers and maintain records of supplier performance.
- To carry out the inspection related activities of all components and assemblies in WFT
- Dimensional and visual in-process inspection in conjunction with controlled drawings and applicable specifications.
- Final inspection of all jobs performed in the facility and 100% inspection of finished components.
- To oversee Pressure Testing of assets to ensure that all acceptance criteria has been met.
- Ensure work assignments carried out to the highest quality level and in compliance with the corporate OEPS performance standards.
- Responsible for inspecting products using established inspection tools and techniques.
- Apply the Corporate and where appropriate, Client Company Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Policy and Management Systems.
- Conduct pre-load out inspection/DROPS check of all equipment prior to load out.
- Compile and maintain accurate QA documentation on all MPD assets
- Track periodic maintenance requirements for all assets in compliance with MPD performance standards.
- Assist with creation or Updating of technical work instructions, JSA,s, inspection checklists as required
- Lead and help maintain a high standard of housekeeping practice within the workshop in compliance with 5S
- Coordinate with third party inspectors to ensure alignment of customer QA requirements
- Prepare all QA documentation for third party inspection
- Maintain TMDE register
Requirement:
- Comfortable working at Loyang area, 8am - 5pm, Mon-Fri
- Ability to establish a teamwork environment.
- Ability to adequately read and interpret machine, weld and assembly drawings and select and accurately use inspection gages/tools.
- Working knowledge of Oil & Gas equipment is
- Min 3 years of performing inspection activities.
- Advanced knowledge of inspection processes and documents related to job.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in non-destructive testing (e.g., MP/LP/UT/RT) is a plus.
