Senior Social Marketing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Media Manager to lead our social media portfolio and oversee the development and execution of strategic social media initiatives for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices, along with proven leadership abilities to inspire and keen to grow a team of social media professionals.


Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement overarching social media strategies for clients, aligning with their business objectives and target audience demographics.
  • Client Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing strategic guidance, regular updates, and performance reports to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Campaign Development: Oversee the planning, development, and execution of creative social media campaigns across various platforms, including but not limited to existing ones.
  • Paid Media Management: Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, audience targeting, and performance optimization, to achieve client objectives such as lead generation, brand awareness, and conversions.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to develop compelling and engaging content ideas that resonate with target audiences and align with client brand messaging and values.
  • Content Creation and Management: Lead the content creation process, including brainstorming ideas, coordinating with designers and copywriters, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content. Develop and maintain content calendars to organize and schedule social media posts in advance.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilize social media analytics tools to track key performance metrics, analyse campaign effectiveness, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimisation.


Requirements:

  • Always on the lookout for the latest trends, algorithms, and best practices in social media marketing, and seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Able to translate client briefs into impactful social media content, managing the process from ideation to execution with confidence.
  • Deliver content ideas to clients and teams backed with strategic insights and trends.
  • Possess versatile skills from copywriting to TikTok videos and memes, adept at various content creation tasks.
  • Keen to take the role to the next level by growing the social media portfolio and building a team.
  • With at least 5 years of experience in a social media marketing managerial position.
