Responsibilities:
- Develop plans for network maintenance activities and provide accurate effort estimates.
- Perform requirement gathering, collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend and analyse user, business, and system functional requirements, ensuring clear understanding of delivery needs.
- Perform risk assessments, evaluating current and future processes, identifying technical constraints, and proposing solutions.
- Design technical solutions based on Functional Specification Documents.
- Perform maintenance and testing works, construct solutions as per technical specifications and execute testing procedures to ensure the quality of network establishment.
- Prepare documentation for production Go-Live.
- Offer technical assistance in resolving incidents and conduct root cause analysis.
- Assist the team leader in various network-related activities.
Requirements:
- Possess more than 5 years of extensive experience in IT infrastructure systems.
- Comprehensive hands-on experience in various network-related engineering tasks, including Firewalls, Routers, Cisco IOS, EIGRP, and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), as well as LAN/ WAN management.
- At least 3 years of extensive experience in the financial institution sector.
- Demonstrated proficiency in collaborative, consultative, problem-solving, prioritization, and analytical skills.
- Experience in working with complex, centralized banking IT infrastructure system is a plus.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with technical and non-technical teams.
- Possess a customer-centric attitude.
This is a 12-month contract role with potential to extend.
