Technical Writer – As a technical writer, your role involves crafting thorough documentation adhering to organizational guidelines. You'll create user-friendly material tailored to meet the specific requirements of your audience, translating insights into language that ensures user success.
You will
- Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments / customers to understand project requirements
- Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation
- Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage
- Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that adhere to organizational and legal standards and allow for easy data migration
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation
You bring
- Min. 4+ years of technical writing experience
- Bid Management knowledge and Project Governance an additional advantage.
- Resources with IT Infrastructure background and good understanding IT infrastructure terminology will be preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums.
- Experience working cross-departmentally to communicate the nuts and bolts of a product.
- Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects
- Should have excellent hands on experience in Word, PPT and other visualisation tools like MS VISIO etc
- ITIL V4 foundation preferred
