Role Description
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. This includes managing the freight forwarding process, coordinating with airlines and Ground Handling Agents, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and optimizing operational efficiency. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for managing a team and maintaining excellent relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and airfreight processes
- Adherence to policies and procedures, SOP processes, safe practices and applicable laws & regulations.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving skills and proactive approach to identifying and resolving
operational/supply chain & labour related issues
- Ability to manage and lead a team
- Drive continuous improvement of our operations in line with internal protocols
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and work collaboratively with inter-departments, clients, etc
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Providing excellent pre and post customer service
- Display high level of professionalism and work ethics
Schedule:
- Monday to Saturday - 5.5 workdays
