Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Country Head with a strong market reputation to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating market presence /acquire new business opportunities. Building team and drive growth for the organization. As the face of our company, you will represent our brand with integrity and professionalism, building and maintaining relationships with key clients and stakeholders.


Location: Central Singapore


What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expand market presence, demonstrating a deep acumen for understanding business dynamics and creating a profitable, self-sustainable business unit. Leverage existing network from the regional construction, developers and reputation to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Utilize comprehensive market analysis to identify opportunities for expansion and diversification, exploring new horizons to enhance the organization's offerings and revenue streams.
  • Lead the business unit with a keen focus on financial viability, optimizing resources and operations to ensure profitability and long-term sustainability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. Champion a customer-centric approach, prioritizing client satisfaction and retention as fundamental drivers of business growth and success.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and effectiveness of business strategies, continually refining approaches based on data-driven insights.
  • Drive operational excellence within the business unit, implementing efficient processes and workflows to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to explore new ideas and approaches to drive business success.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align business unit objectives with overall organizational goals and strategies, ensuring cohesion and synergy across all departments and initiatives..
  • Assume full responsibility for the business unit's Profit and Loss (P&L) performance, actively managing financial performance and making strategic decisions to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Lead business development efforts, for business expansions, including but not limited to prospecting, lead generation, and client acquisition. Lead the development and execution of innovative marketing and sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share expansion around the South East Asian regions
  • Lead by example in team building and talent development, attracting, recruiting, and retaining top talent while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Lead the development of compelling proposals that win high-value projects across various service sectors .
  • Manage and prioritize a pipeline of new project opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across various departments to ensure project feasibility and successful execution.
  • Establish and enhance the company's industry presence and reputation across diverse service sectors.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential opportunities and threats.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of assigned regions
  • Resolve complaints effectively and quickly
  • Upselling and cross-selling other SBF activities and departments
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments, proactively adapting business strategies to capitalize on evolving opportunities and mitigate potential risks. Identify and cultivate relationships with local and overseas market entry partners to build SBF’s
  • Build a strong team which can cater to clients requirements either inhouse or through external associations.
  • Represent the business unit and the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance visibility, build relationships, and drive brand awareness. Lead the development of robust business plans and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and facilitating informed decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Masters in Business Management
  • Demonstrated expertise in understanding business dynamics and creating profitable, self-sustainable business units, with a strong emphasis on financial acumen and strategic planning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong business acumen and Results-oriented mindset, with a relentless drive for excellence and a commitment to achieving and exceeding business objectives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive results.
