Job Purpose:
Tsao Foundation leads the way in using technology to promote healthy aging, and we're seeking a Director of Technology to drive this mission forward. This role involves leveraging AI and other technologies to enhance people's lives as they age and the Director will spearhead the Foundation's technological advancements, ensuring that we stay ahead in promoting active aging locally and
regionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a technology strategy aligned with Tsao Foundation's mission, pioneering new solutions and optimizing operations.
- Strategically integrate existing systems to create an efficient digital infrastructure.
- Collaborate with leadership and program teams to create and deliver impactful technology solutions.
- Foster innovation and transition programs to digital platforms, improving accessibility and scalability.
- Champion data analytics and ensure data quality and integrity through user-friendly tools and processes.
- Oversee security measures to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize organizational risk.
- Manage the IT department, including budgeting and personnel development.
- Collaborate with the Board's Technology Committee to enhance services and impact.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or social services.
- Keen understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a passion for technology for social good.
