Job Scope:
- Be part of the team conducting routine genetic typing of vector-borne pathogens in Singapore.
- The activities aim to support the control of vector borne diseases through better understanding of the diversity, population dynamics and spatial distribution of pathogens.
Job Requirements:
• A diploma in Life Sciences or related discipline
• Strong interest in operational research related to public health
• Knowledge and skills in biosafety, molecular techniques (including PCR and sequencing) and genome data analyses will be added advantages
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
Salary: $12 to $13/hour
Location: Clementi
Working Arranagement: Mon-Fri
Contract Period: 6 months
