You will be working in the Memorial Facilities and Planning Division under Public Health Services and Capabilities Group and assist the section to provide after-death care services at government cemetery and crematorium office.
Your job responsibilities include:
- Supervise a team of Assistant Executives to carry out their cremation and pulverisation duties smoothly
- Manage enquiries and provide the necessary assistance to the public to help them go through the cremation service and ash collection process effectively
- Plan and coordinate daily operations and maintenance (preventive and breakdown) of the cremators
- Administration of the cremator term contract, including seeking approval, raising Purchase Orders/Works Orders, carrying out inspections and verification of work done
- Perform administration work such as duty roster preparation, attendance record keeping, etc.
- Monitor the consumption of Liquefied Petroleum Gas(LPG) by the cremators and raise Purchase Orders promptly for operations
- Assist supervisor to carry out periodic review of work procedures and conduct briefings to staff on revised procedures
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
