Assists the Director of Catering & Events in the Hotels’ to reactive and proactive sales efforts to achieving revenue goals. The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for enquiries and site inspections and be part of a core team that will create memorable experiences for guests.
- Responsible for proactively soliciting and managing group/catering related opportunities with significant revenue potential.
- Ensure prompt respond to all telephone and walk-in enquiries about events and catering space and conduct tours of the property with event organizers and potential clients.
- Actively up-sell and ensure regular sales and service contacts by sales call, telephone or correspondence with existing account.
- Establish excellent relationships and build rapport for guest/customers retention and coordinate sales activities with the rest of the sales team.
Job Requirements
- Familiar with all Hotel Services and Facilities. Have thorough knowledge of internal policies and procedures of the Food and Beverage Department
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Catering Sales in a Hotel
- Good interpersonal skills and outgoing personality with ability to engage in a conversation
