Who we're looking for
We are looking for an experienced financial analyst to join our Singapore Finance team.
The team
Our Singapore Finance department is the regional finance hub for Schroder’s Asia business. It is responsible for:
- Financial Control: Preparing annual accounts, reviewing the month end financial close, preparing tax and indirect tax returns, preparing regulatory returns, liaising with external advisors (auditor, tax consultants); managing cashflow and liquidity of the businesses;
- Finance Operations: Accounts payable, accounts receivable, performing the month end financial close, balance sheet reconciliations
- Management Reporting: Providing monthly analysis of business performance, responding to ad-hoc analysis requests and preparing the annual budget.
- Financial Business Partnering: Working with stakeholders to partner commercially to promote the right decisions for Schroders

What you'll do
- Ensure financial and management reporting deliverables are completed accurately and promptly;
- Ensure critical analysis and inputs into global and regional finance projects that have been assigned and to manage deliverables to see that are completed to expectations and on time
- Manage and support the preparation of regular, ad-hoc and thematic performance reports and to analysis trends, financial information and business performance to provide insights to drive business decisions
- Actively involve in the preparation of the Group and regional budget and ongoing forecast tracking, including data collation and analysis
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Degree graduate in Accountancy or Qualified Accountant
- Minimum 8 years of experience in financial control and management reporting within the financial services industry
- Minimum 5 years of experience in asset management.
- Experience working on corporate accounting system (e.g. Oracle, SAP, HFM)
- Experience working on excel and data analytics
- Possess business curiosity to identify revenue growth and cost rationalisation opportunities
- Experience with stakeholder management
