Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical leadership, working with clients to create digital solutions that solve challenges in innovative ways while still integrating with the existing technology landscape.
• Analyse the solution, prioritize, develop strategy, identify target solution and derive actions list to meet personal and company objectives.
• Develop and communicate the detailed technology architecture and implementation strategy for a solution to the project team.
• Lead technical teams through the design and development of complex transactional systems.
• Lead complex system integration, providing both oversight and hands on contributions to the software design, development, and integration.
• Resolve integration and interfacing issues between various back-end systems. Optimise application performance, scalability and security.
• Execute business development tasks such as developing bids, writing responses to BQ, invitations to tender from clients, preparing materials for client presentations and pitches, etc.
• Conduct market studies to compare solutions available and work with product principals to architect solutions that meet the needs of our clients, build proof of concept and conduct product demos to client.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of enterprise computing experience, including 3-5 years of application and technical architecture experience.
• Minimum 3 years of development experience using WSDL/SOAP/XML and REST/JSON or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in AWS and AZURE cloud architecture implementation, with willingness to learn the other technology stack, as needed.
• Experience with Singapore government projects in environments such as GCC and knowledge of relevant standards such as IM ICT&SS is a big advantage.
• Proven expertise with Java/J2EE technologies, Solace Pub-Sub and database systems (including SQL, No SQL), networking and virtualization.
• Well versed in Java/J2EE software, SOA, microservice architecture & agile development.
• Experience with an API management software like APIGEE, Axway, MuleSoft or equivalent with the knowledge of API mashups, analytics & API security.
• Sound knowledge of security technologies such as encryption, MFA authentications, OAuth, OWASP Top Ten and industry standards.
• Good experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD tools such as git, GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, or equivalents.
• Understanding of Mobile Development environments (Responsive and Adaptive Design).
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript. Experience with Angular or React JS
• Good understanding of mobile and web applications.
• Able to manage multiple opportunities at the same time.
• Experiences in managing client relationship and expectation.
• Fast learner, achiever, sets high personal goals.
