Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise the development of the overall casework and counseling framework for residents in the Hostel, including budgeting and expenditure in line with departmental objectives.
- Establish sustainable structures and pathways for staff development and progression, in collaboration with the Division Head and Corporate Services.
- Ensure staff comprehension and adherence to the overall philosophy, providing supervision and guidance as necessary.
- Manage casework and community engagements within the Hostel.
- Provide guidance for crisis management and handling complex cases.
- Direct interdepartmental and divisional collaboration to facilitate rehabilitation efforts.
- Oversee and conduct family interventions when deemed necessary for recommended cases.
- Establish networks and liaise with external agencies, fostering relationships with key personnel to aid in the rehabilitation and community reintegration of residents.
- Support staff professional development by closely working with the Head of Practice & Service Development and HR.
- Achieve departmental goals aligned with Division objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lead and monitor team members, ensuring their competency and training meet evolving roles and responsibilities.
- Ensure staff adherence to company policies and standards.
- Hold a degree in Social Work with a minimum of 6 years of experience in direct social work practice or similar settings.
- Experience in managerial and organizational leadership.
- Possess extensive knowledge and experience in social work interventions, social policies, and community engagement.
- Familiarity with clinical supervision frameworks and skills.
- Knowledge of community resources and government ministries' systems (e.g., MSF, MOE, etc.).
