[Our client is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the Power Plant to meet the contractual, technical and commercial set-up and operation.]
Job Description:
- Supporting the Power Plant to meet the contractual, technical and commercial set-up and operation.
- Prepare the scope of works for electrical services, specifications of spare parts for the maintenance work.
- Maintain and updated all the drawings, data and maintenance record for all electrical equipment and plant utilities in Power Plant.
- Ensure the proper preventive, corrective and condition-based maintenance (including emergency situation) carried out for all electrical equipment and plant utilities in the Power Plant.
- Perform technical evaluation on external service engagement and material purchase.
- Assist in preparation of the annually maintenance budgetary cost on electrical equipment and plant utilities.
- Provide necessary guidance and advice to maintenance staff to ensure the quality maintenance is carried out as per good engineering practice.
- Ensures that subordinates are adequately trained and recommends necessary training.
- Ensure PPE are provided, and subordinates are utilizing it by executing works with all safety precautions.
- Ensure all Power Plant jobs executed are in line with statutory requirements of concerned authorities and power plant policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Power Plant Maintenance ideally on a CCPP (Combined Cycle Power Plant)
- Involvement in technical aspects of Power Plant maintenance
- Experience in the erection, testing and commissioning, and initial start-up phases of a modern Power Plant
- Knowledge on electrical system including installation, troubleshooting, routine inspection and maintenance
- Knowledge on electromagnetic rotating equipment
- Knowledge on protection relays
- Knowledge on electrical equipment, i.e. GIS, MV/LV switchgear, transformer, generator, Automatic Voltage Regulator, Uninterruptable Power Supply, VFD, DC System-Battery and charger, HVAC, Communication System, etc
- Knowledge on control circuitry of power plant electrical system
- Knowledge in maintaining maintenance record in CMMS
