RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preventive Maintenance Regime
- Timely generation and closure of Work Orders for PM and CM
- Plan; liaise with vendors; raise necessary permits; execution; and completion of PM works
- Retrieve relevant SOP/RA/PTP and PM checklist
Progressive Replacement Regime
- Plan; liaise with vendors; review PTP and RA; raise necessary permits; execute, complete, and track the status of Progressive Maintenance Regime in tracking file.
- Check; draw; and prepare inventories for use in the regime
- Raise Purchase Request for jobs and material if it is not in inventory
Root Cause Finding
- Assist equipment engineer in root cause finding through 8D report adopting 5-Whys; verification of suspected root cause; perform corrective actions; and preventive actions, to prevent recurrence
Continuous Upgrading
- Participate and timely completion of in-house training and activities
- Learning Events (LE)
- EQCC/QCC
- TPM

REQUIREMENTS:
- NiTEC or Higher NiTEC in Mechanical engineering with minimum 3 years of working experience in relevant mechanical field.
- Knowledge of Excel; PowerPoint; and Word application
- Knowledge of concepts and applications of Bearings; Belts; Pulleys; Couplings; and motor health status.
- Knowledge of tools such as
- Vernier caliper; Micrometer; bore gauge; and Dial indicator
- Pulley alignment; Pulley wear off; and Belt tension gauge
- Bearings mounting and dismounting tools
- Insulation tester
- Knowledge in working principles of Mechanical systems such as
- Make-up Air Unit (MAU); Vertical Laminar Flow fan (VLF); Recirculating Unit (RCU); Air Handling Unit (AHU); and Fan Coil Unit (FCU)
- Exhaust Systems (Acid Exhaust; Caustic Exhaust; Solvent Exhaust; and General Exhaust)
- Wet Scrubbers and Solvent Abatement
- Chillers
- Cooling Towers
- Pumps (Condenser Water Pumps; Chilled Water Pumps; Hot Water Pumps; Process Cooling Water Pumps)
- Process Vacuum Pump
- Water Treatment (Condenser Water with Newater and Recycled water; Chilled Water; Process Cooling Water; and Hot Water)
