Research Engineer (23-month contract), SCIS

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review existing literature relevant to this research
• Propose research directions relevant to this research
• Develop and deploy AI-Assisted app based full-stack web development and AWS Cloud
• Design and conduct experiments to evaluate the tool effectiveness
• Documentation including but not limited to design, deployment and code
• Write research paper to publish research results

• Minimum Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from an institution of higher learning
• Minimum 0.5 year of relevant research experience in educational or software engineering research
• Basic knowledge/Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python and Java is required
• Demonstrated experience and know-how on full stack web development on cloud using React.js, SpringBoot or Flask and MySQL relational database and AWS Cloud.
• Working knowledge of training, fine-tuning and prompting large language models preferred.
• Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills
• Applicants with research publications in educational or software engineering area will be advantageous
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
