The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with a French Luxury Retail MNC with a global presence worldwide, and we are seeking a talented individual to join their business as a Senior Merchandise Planner! Reporting directly to the Merchandising Manager, the successful incumbent will develop sales projections, OTB/OTS strategies, and SKU plans for Asia countries in collaboration with HQ, regional merchandising teams and finance departments.

The Job:
- Generate sales projections for budgets and forecasts with HQ, Finance and Management team.
- Develop OTB budgets aligned with sales history, projections, and SKU plans in line with HQ and Asia strategies.
- Conduct post-buy reviews to validate alignment with OTB and analyze historical sales performance and trends to inform future buying decisions.
- Prepare monthly sales reforecasts and analyses to identify risks and growth opportunities, collaborating with Merchandising and Retail on action plans.
- Manage inventory to meet targeted months of supply and availability rate objectives.
- Monthly reforecast Permanent sales for each Retail Warehouse by style.
- Collaborate closely with Merchandising to develop core assortment and clustering strategies for stores and SKUs.
- Establish model stock, safety stock parameters, and size curves for order generation, proposing action plans to sustain sales trends and ensure ideal stock cover.
- Consolidate regional weekly/monthly sales and stock analyses, collaborating regularly with MD team to identify best sellers, slow movers, and anticipate consolidation strategies, allocation, reallocation, and replenishment.
- Analyze end-of-season markdowns and propose markdown strategies based on inventory and sales analyses by location.
- Serve as a key user for ANAPLAN Stream 1 (Sales Forecasting and OTB) and Stream 3 (Permanent Buying Tool)
The Talent:
- Numbers-driven, analytically inclined with proficiency in handling extensive data, capable of conceptualizing and turning them into meaningful analyses
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table) is a must
- Detail-oriented, meticulous, and strong analytical skills
- Strategic mindset and strong commitment to achieving business objectives
- Ability to multi-task in a high-energy working environment
- Proficiency in ANAPLAN is an added advantage
