In this position as an Underwriter for the Financial Lines Business, you will be working alongside with the HOD and a sizeable team to execute the underwriting strategy for Financial Lines business with focus on FI, PI, D&O and driving sustainable growth and profitability for the company.
The ideal incumbent should be someone who is driven, a self-starter and demonstrate determination to succeed. You will be expected to negotiate participation, pricing, terms and conditions with brokers and maintain good relationships.
skills and experience required
- 1+ years of experience underwriting Financial lines business ideally
- Able to consider candidate without relevant experience but strong business development background, sales driven and has keen interest to transit to Financial Lines
- Keen interest in financial lines business and highly analytical
- Ability to establish strong relationships with brokers and work with with team members
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
