Cook plans, prepares, and cooks food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers. They help keep the kitchen organized and running efficiently. They ensure proper food handling, sanitation and following food storage procedures.
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: Prepares main dishes, meats, salads, desserts and bakery goods, using ovens, stoves, and other kitchen equipment. Performs a variety of tasks to prepare food to be cooked and served, including cleaning, chopping, weighing, and measuring ingredients.

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts;
Ensure that all food is of high quality and meets our standards;
Follow recipes and cooking techniques to ensure consistency;
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen;
Ensure that all equipment is in good working order and report any issues to management;
Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies;
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are prepared and served in a timely manner;
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines;

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook/Chef; Prefer someone at least 3 years experience in a Chinese Restaurant before.
- Able to cook and prepare China Theme dishes (Szechuan Dish);
- Excellent culinary skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Ability to follow recipes and cooking techniques;
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines;
