Our client is a Global MNC company in the Supply Chain industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Sourcing Team Lead to join their Sourcing team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East – easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate comprehensive sourcing strategies for the company’s current/new categories with various regional stakeholders
- Work closely with various regional stakeholders to implement these strategies effectively
- Enhance quality, delivery, and cost efficiency to align and meet the company’s strategic objectives
- Develop/Execute strategies to enhance the company’s strategic sourcing proficiencies
- Conduct periodic assessments with key suppliers, engaging the relevant stakeholders
- Regularly assess the current supplier base, and identify potential suppliers to meet the company’s business needs
- Establish a framework for the company and the preferred suppliers to facilitate regional business expansion for specific categories
- Boost profit margins through strategic sourcing and promotion of the company’s branded products
- Lead and guide various company stakeholders, offering guidance to drive process enhancements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the adoption of new/improved processes
- Generate accurate reports to ensure timely information for the company’s management decisions
- Capture/Document the various stakeholders’ insights/feedback, and ensure that process enhancements are being developed to avert future losses
- Foster collaboration among team members to achieve productivity objectives
- Supervise a group of specialists, driving and meeting the company’s business objectives
- All other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Supply Chain Management or other relevant field of studies
- Minimum 5 years of sourcing experience in the relevant industries
- Possesses strong supervisory experience
