We are looking for a highly skilled Product Designer to drive the creation of exceptional user experiences across our product suite. As Product Designer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our product design meets the needs of our users, aligns with business goals, and is up to date with industry trends. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Business, Marketing, Operations, to deliver innovative and user-centric product designs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX design and computer science.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Management team to understand product vision, user needs, and market trends, and translate them into impactful design solutions.
- Conduct thorough research on user behavior, pain points, and preferences to inform design decisions and ensure user-centered design practices.
- Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs, and provide constructive feedback to the design team to improve design quality.
- Work closely with Engineering teams to ensure the feasibility and successful implementation of design concepts.
- Champion design best practices, design systems, and guidelines to maintain design consistency across products.
- Lead design reviews and present design proposals to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and iterating designs as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Product Management team to prioritize design tasks on the backlog and ensure timely delivery of design projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools, and encourage the team to adopt innovative design techniques.
- Advocate for the value of design within the organization and foster a design-centric culture that emphasizes user experience excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a track record of delivering successful design projects, and proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields is required.
- Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles, user-centered design, and design thinking methodologies.
- Proven experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering insights to drive design decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to design and project management.
- Passion for staying updated with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments.
- Understanding of software development and web technologies to collaborate effectively with Engineering teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions to stakeholders.
