Contract Period: 2 years from May 2024 to Dec 2024 and Oct 2024 to Mar 2026
Working hours:
i) Mondays to Fridays: 8.00am to 5.00pm
ii) Saturdays: 8.00am to 12.00pm
iii) Lunch: 12.00pm to 1.00pm (Mondays to Fridays)
Scope of Services:
1) undertake all or part of the duties and responsibilities as specified below and as instructed by STB in consultation with the project consultants.
2) review all project drawings and specifications, and raise any discrepancies and/or possible problems before construction work commence on site and progressively throughout the entire course of the project;
3) supervise the construction and related works, maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the project specifications, drawings, approved sketches, product or system specifications, contractor’s method statements, installation and working procedures, and site instructions by STB, SO, supervising Qualified Persons and project consultants;
4) ensure that the contractors carry out their work in compliance with Building Control Act and Regulations, Codes of Practices and requirements of building authorities and government agencies
5) Issue Site Memo on any deviations and non-compliant works observed on site
6) report to the supervising Qualified Persons any work that are not constructed according to the building approved plans, project drawings including shop drawings;
Qualification, Skill & Experience:
a) Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering from Singapore local polytechnic / university or other tertiary institutions of equivalent standing that is recognized by local RTO (C&S) certified body;
b) WSQ-Supervise Construction Work Certificate or equivalent;
c) Should possess at least 3 years of relevant and practical experience on local construction site, overseeing C&S, Architectural and Interior Design Works.
d) Registered as RTO with IES/ACES.
