Our client specializing in healthcare solutions, committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. As part of their growth strategy, we are seeking a dynamic individual to spearhead our data infrastructure and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of robust data infrastructure, architecture, and systems to support our healthcare operations.
- Develop and execute the organization's data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) strategy, driving innovation and insights.
- Identify training and development needs and establish data governance policies to ensure data quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Manage project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and resolving any issues or challenges that arise.
- Oversee IT procurement, evaluating vendor proposals, and making recommendations for vendor selection and procurement decisions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards regarding data privacy, security, and IT operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully managing data analytics projects and leading teams.
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, data security, and regulatory compliance requirements in the healthcare domain.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, including both waterfall and agile approaches, as well as managing contracts, project budgets, and systems integration.
- Extensive knowledge of data technologies and tools, such as SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Python, R, Tableau, and machine learning frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and analytics technologies, such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Experience with AI tools and their application in enhancing data insights and user efficiency.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a deep understanding of healthcare domain knowledge.
- Candidates with a background in healthcare and previous experience in healthcare projects will be given preference. This role reports to the IT Director (Head of Department) and has the potential for future team oversight.
