Responsibilities :
- Establish, implement and maintain the Safety & Health Management System (SHMS).
- Support departments to review their risk assessments to identify foreseeable hazards and risks as well as propose reasonably practicable measures to eliminate/reduce the risks to as low as reasonably practicable.
- Conduct and manage the WSH Committee Inspections & Meetings as well as other safety & health site inspections to create a safe working environment and follow-up to close findings raised.
- Develop and conduct Safety & Health related Trainings to relevant personnel (employees/contractors) to enhance their safety knowledge & awareness in order to carry out the work safely.
- Conduct incident investigations and ensure proper closure of the corrective actions.
- Assume the role of Fire Safety Manager (FSM) to manage Emergency Response & Fire Safety related matters.
- Support the Safety Case Lead and relevant departments in the preparation of Safety Case.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Degree in Engineering and above
- At least 2 to 3 years working experience in a chemical process manufacturing industry
- Certified and registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WHSO), Chemical process industry experience
- ISO 9001 and 14001(Preferably)
- Possess Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certificate is an advantage
