Overview:
As an Assistant to the IT Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of IT audit and advisory tasks. Your responsibilities will span across conducting audits, preparing reports, managing data analytics routines, and supporting ad-hoc assignments as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audits and reviews of various IT functions and tasks, including Applications, Operating Systems, Databases, Networks, and Infrastructure controls.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, working papers, and other necessary documentation with precision and clarity.
- Follow up on the remediation status of IT audit issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist in the implementation of the company's continuous auditing program, leveraging data analytics.
- Identify, design, and develop data analytics extract routines to support audit activities effectively.
- Manage data extraction, processing, and storage through analytics routines, producing output for visualization and analysis.
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments, such as IT consultancy, advisory reviews, and investigations, as required.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related fields.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in IT auditing.
- Demonstrate a solid grasp of internal controls and corporate governance principles.
- Exhibit strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, coupled with proficiency in data analytics techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites, with the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Willingness and ability to travel occasionally (20%-40%).
- Preferred certifications include Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and/or Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Hands-on experience with analytical and visualization tools (e.g., R, SAS, ACL, IDEA, QlikView, Tableau, SpotFire) and databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL) is advantageous.
