As our Biesterfeld colleague -who set up the GME Chemicals Pharma & Medical Segment in Asia- will be heading back to Germany 1st August, we're looking for an expierienced Segment Manager who is able to take over and join our Singapore Team on 1st July.
Role & responsibilities:
· Working with the global team, the Regional Segment Manager will be responsible for development and implementation of the growth strategy for the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device market in Southeast Asia.
· Ensure alignment of our business development strategies with that of our suppliers/principles and to identify growth opportunities to achieve a sustainable business for all stakeholders
· Reporting to our global and regional management and suppliers on regional sales and pipeline developments
· Supplier management
· Product portfolio management including acquisition of new suppliers
· Regional marketing management and project pipeline development in coordination with our regional sales team
· Acquisition of new customers in coordination with the regional sales team
· Identification of market trends, new products and technologies, etc. and the impact on customer product requirements
· Development and provision of product, application and market information for the sales team in the region
· Support for customer-side application and product-related questions
· Central contact for technical and regulatory topics
· Participation in trade fairs and conferences in Asia and overseas
· Work together with management on market segment budget and profitability
Requirements:
· Background in medical device / pharmaceutical or a another field related to Life Science industry
· University degree, or experience in relevant field
· Commercial/ sales experience is preferred
