Job Summary

The Head of WRB Catalyst Programme is responsible to lead Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) Data Centre (DC) Migration delivery. The role works closely with the TTO central program team, CIO domains, and the respective Hives (Business and Tech) to deliver on the outcome aligning to the architecture and infrastructure roadmap while ensuring adherence to overall program governance, approval process, timeline and budget allocation.

The overview of the responsibilities of the role are as follows:

· Ensures that plans established for programme are maintained / tracked to ensure the programme is managed in a manner that maximizes probability of delivery of the programme objectives.

· Supports the successful delivery of programme through effective facilitation, tracking and reporting.

· Responsible for management of issue/risk, timelines, financial, resource plan, and any other static data to various governance forums (i.e., Refinement Forum (RF), Steering Co, Quarterly Performance Reviews (QPR), etc.) with timely updates on project progress,.

· Responsible to conduct and run the Refinement forum (RF) and steering committee (SC) and keeping the senior stakeholder / sponsor in business and technology updated / informed

· Collaborate with other foundation program on the dependency impact across the programs (i.e., OBS remediation, Tech Simplification, IBS etc.) for risks and dependencies to be managed, tracked and raised in the appropriate forums.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

· Deliver the application migration strategy for the WRB application estates via cloud migration, consolidation and decommission and new data center (DC) migration.

· Drive delivery and adoption towards new DC architecture standards and strategy for the bank

· Oversee and manage execution of the infra and DC migration, including resolution and timely escalation of blockers and impediments

Business

· Program delivery application rationalisation, modernisation and optimisation of infrastructure against OKR and approved budget

· Partners with Business / Hives to prioritise and deliver the transformation agenda within the Program budget allocated to the Hives.

Processes
Program Management and Governance Process:

· Provide executive level update to Business and technology sponsor in RWB

· Program Governance Process: Financial management via clarity and reconciliation against ADO work effort

· Change Management of scope, infra provision and budget in alignment with Program CAB Process

· SOW approval in alignment with Program DAB process

· Architecture and Design Approval in alignment with CTDA process

· Issue and Risk Management in alignment with GRAM framework and blockers forum with Account Executives via ADO

· Management of external program dependency on timeline / budget / impact – ICS, Obsolesces, Tech Sim, Keystone, SS1/21 regulatory compliance, country regulatory approval

· Prepare material and conduct / facilitate RWB program governance forum (ie. Refinement Forum, QPR update and Steer Co input and prep session for Business sponsor)

People & Talent

· Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values.

· Be an effective agent of change and a role model within the bank

· Develop a people culture which encourages, and champions change among employees in the daily workplace

Risk Management

· Ensure a full understanding of the risk and control environment within the architecture, infrastructure, network and DC migration

· Identify, manage, and mitigate risk that would impact the overall portfolio success

· Act quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness become apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and, if necessary, escalated through the relevant committees

Governance

· Ensure adherence to bank-wide technology, DC requirements, security, and architecture standards.

· Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

· Data driven approach in tracking and driving delivery progress. Management of RWB application status, strategy, delivery status, milestone in central ADO and provide real time / regular updates to central program management team,

· Financial Management of 72M across 200+ Applications, 500+ resources for MD and non-MD aspect. Management of monthly plan vs actual for RWB forecast vs spent.

· Reporting and providing executive update, early detection of issue and escalation where required, worked closely

Our Ideal Candidate

· Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferably In Engineering and/or MBA

· Certifications: Project/Program Management Certification, Agile Delivery Management

· 18+ years in programme management
