Job Summary
As a Lead Engineer, you will work together with other engineers to build world-class products and applications for our customers. By understanding our customers’ real business and product needs, you strive to deliver goals, create impacts, and enjoy working in a dedicated cross-functional team environment. You can drive discussions and translate business needs into business and technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Subject matter expert in electronics design. Designs schematic of digital, mixed-signal and power electronics that meet requirements.
- Provides design rules and layout guidelines, including schematics capture and printed circuit board layout design documents.
- Designs embedded systems including A/D, D/A, high-speed Microcontrollers, Digital Signal Processors (DSP), FPGA, I/O communications (CAN, SPI, I2C, RS485, RS232, Ethernet, and others.), volatile and non-volatile memory.
- Diagnoses issues, understanding of typical failure in digital/mixed-signal circuits and troubleshoot designs.
- Identify and communicate potential risks with appropriate mitigations and evaluate requirements on performance, quality, time, and/or cost.
- Design products to meet EMC compliance certification and safety requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Understanding of microcontroller and microprocessor’s basic architecture, embedded drivers development and constraints on application development.
- Ability to multi-task and operate efficiently in a fast-paced product development environment with multiple projects at various stages of completion.
- Providing technical leadership and communicate well with various stakeholders.
- Experience in developing requirements, verification and validation plans and risk analysis.
- Use of hardware lab equipment.
Required Background
- Degree in Electronics / Electrical engineering or similar.
- At least 3 years of successful product development experience.
- 3+ years of C/C++ programming experience.
