Our client is a fast-growing company supporting the recycling and renewable energy industry based in Singapore. We are hiring a Business Development Manager to be based in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- To identify new opportunities, including new suppliers or clients, new partnerships for lithium-ion battery business, being the main contact for the development and management of overseas and local accounts
- Establish, build and maintain relationships with new and existing target companies to promote renewable and recycling initiatives and manage to turn it into a new business opportunity
- Creating business strategies and generate leads to achieve set targets
- Keep up-to-date industry development, understanding the competitions and strategy positioning in the market movement
- Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and keeping up with new trends
- Lead and facilitate client required qualification and/ or on-going audits
- Effectively be the bridge and managing the communication between client and operations to ensure clients' requirements and needs are met
Requirements:
- A Degree or Diploma in any discipline, with a least 3 years in similar role; candidate with work experience within EV manufacturers, battery cell factories, cathode and cathode materials, public transportation, BMS or ESS
- Proven track records in business development and negotiation capabilities
- Strong analytical skills with problem solving abilities; self-reliant
- Tech-savvy professional, able to explain technical details and requirements to a non-technical audience
- Good communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively
- Able to contribute individually and as a team player
