Job Description
The National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Assistant for “Engineered extracellular vesicles for anti-cancer therapy (EVANTICA)” in the Department of Pharmacology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Teaching and research activities in our department range from clinical pharmacology, systems pharmacology, to basic molecular and cellular pharmacology. Purpose of the post
The Research Assistant (RA) will be responsible to conduct research on cell culture, microscopy, molecular assays, animal experiments and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and study team members to ensure the successful research in drug delivery.
Main duties and responsibilities
The RA will perform extracellular vesicles characterization, assays in cell culture.
The RA will be able to:
- Assist the general logistics of the project;
- Design and perform the experiments; and
- Analyze the data and write publication report.
Qualifications
The applicant should:
- Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences or related disciplines;
- Research experience in molecular cell biology; and
- be able to work in a team, have an investigative nature, attention to detail.
Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
