Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and prepare legal memorandums covering various areas such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate compliance, intellectual property, employment law, directors' duties, Singaporean capital markets, and developments in green hydrogen.
- Support cross-border transactions by assisting in due diligence processes and contributing to transaction closings.
- Facilitate the expansion of Chinese companies into Singapore by guiding them through company registration, facilitating Employment Pass applications, and keeping them informed about Singapore's corporate laws and regulations.
- Provide expert legal advice and maintain proactive communication to ensure a client-focused approach.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Law.
- Thorough understanding of Singaporean local culture and business environment, along with strong knowledge of corporate laws and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
- Demonstrated maturity, ability to work effectively under high pressure and in complex environments, with a proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
- Proficient in both written and verbal English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
