Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and verify the energy management devices.
- Create/optimize mechanical system architecture for energy management devices.
- Prepare design documents such as DFMEA, BOM, and test plans.
- Mechanical component cost estimation & optimization.
- Prototype assembly and verification.
- Communication with 3rd parties for mechanical technical discussion
- Maintain and document functionality.
- Work closely with overseas R&D, Quality, Certification, and new product introduction teams.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree / Master’s in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical product design relevant field
- Proficient in CAD(SOLIDWORKS), FMEA, DFM, DFA, GD&T & tolerance analysis tools
- Proficient in Sheetmetal and plastic part design
- Experience in Module and system design for electrical products
- Experience in a minimum 1 full product development cycle from conceptual to mass production
- Experience in Power electrical products is a plus.
- A team player with good communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work independently, flexibly, and creatively.
- Able to travel overseas. (e.g. China, Taiwan etc.)
- Familiar with UL standards will be an added advantage.
- Candidates fluent in English and Mandarin will be preferred, as they must liaise with our Taiwan counterparts.
