What you will be doing :
- Suitable candidates will be experienced in delivering projects and work packages throughout all phases of a project lifecycle. Candidate will need to demonstrate a clear understanding of the project lifecycle.
- Suitable candidates can have backgrounds and experience in interior fit out, construction, design engineering, process engineering, project management, facilities management in projects varying in size, type and scale.
- Candidate will be responsible for all administration responsibilities on the project depending on size and complexity.
- Candidate will be responsible for preparation of all project documentation, including but not limited to, Project Execution Plan, Meeting Agendas, Meeting Minutes, Weekly Reports, Cost Plans, Programmes, Monthly reports, Tender Documentation, Defect Registers, Handover Documents and the like for review by SPM, PD, AD as appropriate to suit the project requirements.
- Will attend regular meetings with clients, consultants and contractors and ensure meeting minutes are recorded and issued in timely fashion i.e within 48 hours of meeting.
- Candidate will need to plan the work schedules and efficiently organize the project activities in order to meet an agreed program of deadlines.
- Role will involve the monitoring and management of day-to-day operations of the project or program, including developing short and long-range targets, daily activities, safety, quality, financial controls and reporting and coordination of all stakeholders and subcontractors.
- Liaise with consultants and sub-contractors engaged on the project and provide weekly reports on all safety, quality, time and cost issues associated with the works.
- Resolve technical difficulties and other issues that may arise. Candidate will need to be able to communicate to Project teams and C&W senior management clear and concisely and ensure solutions and contingencies are provided for each technical problem faced on projects.
- Responsible for the HSSE implementation and performance of the project. Ensure the HSSE procedures, provisions and requirements are adhered to by all clients, consultants and contractors. Provide feedback on HSSE matters or information to senior management for each project site.
- Ensure that all statutory requirements of the Regulations, Codes of Practice and company’s safety rules & regulations are complied with at all times.
- PM to complete all learning and development in HSSE, Corporate Finance and DE&I within 3-6 months of commencement. PM to ensure training programmes are scheduled and attended as part of their onboarding.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Degree / Diploma in Project Management / Civil Engineering / Mechanical & Electrical Engineering / Architecture / Facilities & Engineering / Quantity Surveying / Structural Engineering.
- Proficient in MS Project / Primavera P6 or equivalent programming tools, MS Office suite of tools.
- Project Manager - Minimum 5-9 years in building construction / engineering / interior fit out works.
