Job description:
- Assist in managing IT functions, including hardware maintenance, software application and hardware upgrades, data migration, and system installation.
- Provide remote helpdesk and onsite support services for in-house staff.
- Respond to IT ad-hoc duties assigned by the Manager, demonstrating adaptability and versatility.
- Recommend improvements to system performance when required and maintain baseline IT standards and policies.
- Maintain all user accounts and IT hardware according to IT standards and procedures.
- Estimate budgets, affirm adjustments, and execute charge requests.
- Ensure IT instruments and equipment run at optimum performance, collaborating with junior executives.
- Identify, investigate, and research user questions and problems, isolating and resolving information systems issues.
- Manage and participate in new setups or upgrades of systems, and monitor system utilization.
- Perform problem management, including analysis of frequently occurring incidents to solve root causes, and troubleshooting network operating problems, desktop applications, and hardware issues.
- Maintain and upkeep IT equipment inventory and documentation, in compliance with IT policies and procedures. Responsible for hardware and software licensing and compliance.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as required by the company from time to time.
