Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Development Manager with extensive experience in leading the architecture and development of Appian-based applications and products. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of overall software development experience, with at least 5 years of specific experience working with Appian technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and development of Appian-based applications and products, ensuring alignment with business goals and user requirements.
- Utilize Test-Driven Development (TDD) frameworks and Agile/Scrum methodologies to drive efficient development processes.
- Work proficiently in On-Premises, AWS, and Azure Cloud Environments, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements, and prioritize the product roadmap/backlog accordingly.
- Ensure that development activities adhere to company standards, processes, and best practices.
- Manage client accounts and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Leads, Sales teams, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
- Provide leadership and guidance to development teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on Appian platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in product development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of overall software development experience, with at least 5 years of experience in Appian development.
- Expertise in Appian architecture and development, with a strong understanding of Appian design patterns, best practices, and performance optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD) frameworks and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working in On-Premises, AWS, and Azure Cloud Environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in managing client accounts and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive business success.
