Responsibilities:
Assist the Assistant Vice President in the development of comprehensive operations and maintenance manuals. You will be primarily responsible for gathering, consolidating, and documenting all relevant technical information needed to ensure efficient plant operations and maintenance. This includes the collation and integration of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manuals, drawings, logic diagrams, and other critical documents.
You will work with various teams, contractors and sub-contractors to gather and systematically sort and arrange all the relevant documents in the format required.
Key roles include:
- Document Development: Compile, write, and organize operations and maintenance manuals. Ensure that all information is clear, concise, and easily accessible in the format required.
- Information Gathering: Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other subject matter experts to collect necessary technical data, including OEM manuals, schematic drawings, and engineering logic diagrams.
- Document Review and Updates: Regularly review existing manuals and process documentation to identify areas for improvement or updates due to equipment or procedural changes.
- Standardization: Develop and maintain a standardized documentation process to ensure consistency and accuracy across all technical documents.
- Quality Assurance: Perform thorough quality checks to ensure technical veracity and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Training Material Development: Assist in creating training materials based on the operations and maintenance manuals for internal use
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Technical writing or related technical fields
- At least 5 years’ experience in technical writing
- Experience in refining, power generation or water plant systems and operating environment
- 2 years project with annual benefits and completion bonus
- Company transport to & fro Jurong Island
