Fundraising Executive

The Fundraising Executive plays an integral role in the execution of 365 Cancer Prevention Society (365CPS) strategic partnership and fundraising strategies to engage key partners (corporate partners, major donors and communities) to improve efficacy, impact and sustainability.


Reporting to the HOD - Fundraising, Marketing & Volunteer Management, the post-holder is required to collaborate with colleagues across the organisation in implementing and raising awareness of 365CPS, through its fundraising programmes and initiatives. The position may work with one or more groups of the following stakeholders: donors, corporate partners, public agencies and the local communities.


Partnership Development

- Supports the HOD to develop and implement a strategic partnership management plan that is supportive and synergistic with 365CPS’s vision and mission

- Establish and segment partner database to enhance their partnering experience with 365CPS

- Reinforce partner’s commitment through recognition and training initiatives

- Coordinate, conduct, and facilitate information or induction sessions for partners

- Integrate engagement work into internal departments, inspiring fellow colleagues to engage with partners intentionally and authentically

- Keep up-to-date on changing partner priorities and ensure that new partnership opportunities are identified and shared with teams in a timely manner

- Collect and report data analysis of partner engagement targets, as well as assisting reporting to key stakeholders and management


Fundraising Coordination

- Assist the HOD to develop and execute 365CPS’s annual fundraising plan

- Conduct research, prospecting, and application to multiple donor sources and relevant grants

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on all submissions, grant-funded projects and donors in relevant databases and filing systems

- Deliver quality and timely impact and donor reports that meet requirements and contracts

- Assist in running of donation and fundraising-related events and activities


Governance

- Maintain donor database, budget and donations

- Prepare finance reports accurately and on time

- Works closely with Finance on the donors’ tax exemption matters, etc

- Manage the expectations of various stakeholders

- Manage projects to ensure high-quality outcomes, working within specified time frames

- Display excellent donors’ engagement abilities

- Able to be proactive in delivering the best for the organisation

- To undertake any other projects or tasks assigned by the management

- Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with fellow team members; and across departments


Qualifications & Experience

- A tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Social Science, Business Administration or other relevant field and/or demonstrated substantial experience in sales, digital marketing, marketing and fundraising; and/or community engagement.


Knowledge and Skills

- Project management: Skilled at tracking the lifecycle of any project from brainstorm to completion.

- Practical experience in the research, planning, development, implementation, evaluation and reporting of innovative fundraising and community engagement programmes an advantage.

- Fundraising: Ability to put together and implement all elements of a fundraising plan, including researching, prospecting, matching, stewarding, marketing, event management, evaluation and report writing.

- Communication: Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in dealing with and engaging people at all levels.

- Relationship Building: Skilled at establishing and cultivating strong relationships with partners and prospects, as well as internal stakeholders across different levels of the organisation.

- Analytical Ability and Problem Solving & Strategic Thinking: The ability to assimilate and analyse information quickly and accurately and to think strategically, formulate decisions and make recommendations.
