Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to drive initiatives in the growing and dynamic global Advanced Interconnect Assembly business. Responsibilities will include work on existing products as well as future product development efforts in our innovation pipeline. The position is also responsible for leading a variety of marketing initiatives related product and projects. The product specialist role offers a broad engagement within the business, encompassing product management, market analysis, and marketing strategy development with team.
Job Responsibilities
- Providing support to the Semiconductor Assembly Advanced Interconnect Assembly (AIA) marketing, R&D, and Application engineering teams in various areas such as creating and maintaining technical documents, addressing product and raw material inquiries, and facilitating technical data collection and dissemination.
- Acquiring specialized knowledge about products, including their features, technical aspects, and market trends. This involves understanding peripheral technologies necessary for product application, staying informed about market trends related to AIA products, and preparing customer-facing reports reflecting relevant technical and market information.
- Contributing to timely project completion to enhance market share and profitability. This involves managing project schedules, tasks, and communication among project stakeholders, as well as preparing project-related reports.
- Collaborating with R&D and global process engineering teams to ensure timely availability of product samples pre-launch and materials for sale post-launch. This includes supporting sample requests and collaborating with R&D and supply chain engineers as necessary.
- Identifying areas for process improvement for new & current products. This involves reviewing product manufacturing and production processes to optimize efficiency.
- Supporting product launch activities, customer and sales education, positioning, and promotions in collaboration with global and regional marketing communication teams.
- Conducting market research projects as needed, including data collection, analysis, and report preparation, to inform strategic decisions and actions. This may involve collaborating with educational institutions, attending seminars, and gathering necessary data.
- Collaborating closely with Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Quality, and R&D teams to successfully complete assigned projects and tasks and achieve defined goals and deliverables.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Mechanical engineering or related disciplines.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret business articles, technical documents or product manuals.
- Able to communicate within a cross-functional and matrix organization.
- Strong ownership and collaborative team player with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
