The technician primary role is to perform field service for pipeline leak repair for both On-line and Off-line maintenance.
The technician will be trained to perform on-line leak sealing of pipeline components, report directly to the operation manager or supervisor during the on-job training (OJT) period. Junior technician will be sent to attend Safety Course and trained to work in the Petrochemical OEM environment in Jurong Island or mainland Utilities, Pharmaceutical and the general manufacturing industries.
Essential Duties:
- To performs offline/on-line pipeline components leak repair and pipeline reinforcement at plant operators work sites.
- Workshop equipment maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant field mechanical work experience on pipeline in process plant.
- Class 2 or Class 3 driving license preferred.
- Positive team work attitude and able to work in buddy system.
- Basic mechanical pipe component fitting skill.
- Pipe fitting or valve repair related experience.
