Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Information Security (Regional CISO) in devising and implementing security measures.
- Conduct regular assessments of system security and request corrective actions in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Provide support and guidance on countermeasure methods to the respective country branches under supervision.
- Develop and implement various security awareness measures, including the development and delivery of security training programs for non-IT departments.
- Coordinate and report on various security-related matters with the Tokyo Head Office.
- Plan and promote cyber exercises and drills to enhance incident response capabilities.
- Support the response to cyber-related inquiries from overseas branches and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze newly discovered cyber threat information and plan countermeasures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with min. 2 years’ experience in system security or a related field in cybersecurity in the banking sector.
- Strong knowledge and experience in promoting cybersecurity measures.
- Experience in cyber incident response and cybersecurity strategy planning.
- Understanding of cyber-related regulations and relevant banking laws.
- Ability to collect and analyze cyber threat information.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in both English and Japanese is highly preferred as this role needs to prepare reports in Japanese for reporting to Head Office in Japan. This role also needs to present and communicate with stakeholders and counterparts in Tokyo Head Office who mainly communicate in Japanese.
